OFRS’s extensive hands-on oilfield experience sets us apart from our competitors. OFRS’s roots are in environmental work associated with the oilfields of Southern and Central California, going back to 2004. In fact, our original company name was “Oil Field Restoration Services,” so one can easily imagine our company’s foundations.
Our idea was simple: oil & gas industry clients would benefit greatly from a company that understands all environmental facets of their business, from regulatory compliance during production to decommissioning and remediation upon closure. To best provide true turnkey oilfield abandonment and land restoration services, it is most helpful for our upstream clients if we know everything about their business. While we focus on the contracting side with our 'yellow iron' field work, remediation, and remedial construction solutions, because of our company's prior history as part of an environmental consulting firm, we understand the operational, regulatory, and consulting side, which further enhances our professionally engineered oil well and oilfield abandonment programs.
With that, not only upstream, but also midstream and downstream clients recognize value in our services. Whether it be a single oil/gas well on an urban residential property, or multiple wells within an active oilfield, or the environmental needs of pipeline/terminal or refinery facilities, our in-depth knowledge and experience with performing work within these environments assures our clients of a smooth decommissioning project.
We work closely with our clients to help them better understand what the regulatory agencies will expect before, during, and after project completion. From environmental assessments, to excavation and surface abandonment, to oil well vent cone installation, our experience in conducting this type of work sets us apart as being experts in this field.
