The first step in the process for OFRS’s homeless encampment and crime/trauma scene cleanup services is to disinfect the impacted area, and we utilize a variety of sterilization products and application tools to accomplish this task. Our sterilization efforts are often within complex work environments, both inside and outside, addressing everything from open spaces to confined spaces, and including both structures and loose debris. Therefore, one of OFRS’s core capabilities has long been safe and effective site disinfection and sterilization.
The outbreak of the novel coronavirus in 2019-2020 (SARS-CoV-2), which causes the COVID-19 illness, was a game-changer when it comes to the importance of maintaining and disinfecting shared spaces. Both local epidemics and global pandemics not only impact personal health and safety but also cause massive disruption. OFRS’s workforce is specifically trained in this area and we are highly experienced when it comes to the mitigation of pathogens and the sterilization of indoor and outdoor spaces. We know how to safely and effectively protect your workers and clean their work environments to minimize the associated risks. We also know who to clean and disinfect open spaces and high-traffic areas as well in order to best protect the public at large.
OFRS is a licensed Pest Control Business (PCB) with a Qualified Applicator License (QAL-K, “Health Related”) issued by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CA DPR). This is a regulatory requirement that enables OFRS to apply disinfection and sanitization chemicals for the purpose of protecting public health.
